If you have used one of these before (maybe you are in the forces or formerly in the forces) they require no introduction! However, here is the blurb for everyone else…
We have acquired a very small number of very lightly used 18 litre insulated food containers.
CONDITION
As you can see from the pictures, they have obviously been issued – they have writing and identification paint markings on the exterior. But it is clear to see from the inside of the container that they have only seen active service for a short time.
They are sold without insert kit and ladle but we can supply these at extra cost – you will find them in our the Field Catering Equipment section of our shop.
USES
The Norwegian Food Container offers unrivalled insulating qualities. Simply put, they keep hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold for hours and hours and… hours!
They have a handy spout for pouring liquids straight from the container.
THE PRICE
These things are shockingly expensive. The MOD pay upwards of ¬£400 each for them and we don’t believe you will find them for less anywhere. However, they are built to last and perhaps that is why they are so pricey.
Our price reflects the fact that they have been lightly used but still, in our opinion, makes them a not to be missed bargain.
