Its extremely robustblade is equipped with a wire cutter (5mm max cable diameter) and with a wirestripper (1.8mm max cable diameter). The handle includes two screwdriver tips.

The handle is Fibreglass-reinforcedpolyamide to whithstand shocks and humidity, with two built-in bits: flatscrewdriver (4 mm screws) and crosshead screwdriver (3.5 to 5 mm screws),magnetised bit holder.

Safety Ring:  Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, theVirobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out ofstainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. Inaddition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lockthe blade closed (safety in transport).
